15 Things to Do in San Diego This Weekend December 16-21
Technically, the seasons don’t switch over until Sunday’s solstice, but since the fog has returned, I think it’s fair to say winter is already back in San Diego. So get your seasonal fix early with a host of themed festivities, including the Chicano Park and Museum Center’s Winter Family Posada, the Wild Holidays festival at San Diego Zoo Safari Park and several Hanukkah gatherings being held across the county. Those in search of creative theater productions can check out Burnout Paradise, 2 Pianos 4 Hands, or, for holiday-minded viewers, The Jinkx and DeLa Holiday Show. Also, two local dance companies will tackle Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker this weekend, with magical productions from both Golden State Ballet and the San Diego Ballet.
